For most laboratories, the Quality Management System (QMS) creates efficient processes, helps to meet regulatory and quality program requirements, and ensures customer satisfaction. A modern LIMS should be the backbone of a laboratory’s QMS. This webcast will focus on how to optimize the use of a LIMS to support the organization’s QMS.

Presenter: Steve Wesson, Director of Sales, Accelerated Technology Laboratories

Steve has over 20 years of laboratory experience in chemistry and organics. In addition, Mr. Wesson has a strong sales background in instrumentation. He has worked for national and international environmental laboratories and laboratory instrument manufacturers, where he utilized his background and experience to support regulatory compliance, manage revenue and develop training programs. Mr. Wesson has managed large analytical chemistry teams, developed national sales training programs and been responsible for the design and testing of new environmental products for the leading thermal sample-preparation instrumentation manufacturer in the US.

Mr. Wesson worked for large environmental laboratories, including Weston Analytics and EMSL Analytical, where he was responsible for a staff of over 50, with annual revenues of $2.5M. In addition, he ensured the laboratory maintained compliance with a variety of regulatory bodies including TNI/NELAC, AIHA and New Jersey and Pennsylvania state certifications.

Prior to accepting a position with ATL, Mr. Wesson was the North American Sales Manager for CDS Analytical in Oxford, PA, where he was responsible for all North American product sales, development of a national sales training program, and sales in excess of $2M. With his strong leadership skills, Mr. Wesson participated in the development of a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and his laboratory background supported his involvement in the analytical testing of CDS’ Thermal Desorption and Purge & Trap system during product development prove-out.
