Spring meeting of the Pennsylvania Association of Accredited Environmental Laboratories, Inc. to be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Directions:

From PA Turnpike: Follow Turnpike (I-76) to Exit 236. Go north on Route 15 for 6 miles to Erford Rd. Hotel is on the left.
From the North and I-78: South on I-81 to Exit 65 (Enola exit). Take 11 & 15 South through three lights (approximately five miles). Turn right at the third stop light. Follow through two more stop lights. The Radisson is on the right.

Registration Fee:

Member pre-paid registrations are $45 (or mail one Meeting Registration Ticket). Member registration at the door is $50 or one Meeting Registration Ticket and $5. All 2008 dues must be paid in full to register as a member. Cost for non-members is $60, pre-paid or at the door. Lunch is included.

Return Notices:

You must let us know by Thursday, March 6th if you plan to attend. Reservations may be phoned, faxed, or pre-paid to the association office at the above address. Pre-paid registrants, who fail to attend and do not cancel by Wednesday, March 5th, do not receive a refund. You may send a substitute. We accept Visa?, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.

Lodging:

Overnight accommodations are the responsibility of the registrant. The Radisson has extended PaAAEL meeting attendees a corporate rate of $99.00 until Feb. 8th. You may make reservations by calling (717) 763-7117. When you call, please tell them you are with PaAAEL.

Mr. Matthew Hiemstra, NMS/eDMR Project Manager, from Veridyne Inc. will present an overview of the soon-to-be released Electronic DMR Reporting Program being written for the Pennsylvania DEP’s Bureau of Water Supply and Waste Water Management Division. This program will give attendees a look at the program that will require the electronic reporting of all DMR data in the near future.

Ms. Lisa Daniels from Pennsylvania Bureau of Water Supply and Waste Water Management will present a Regulatory Update and Q&A Session.

Ms. Aaren Alger, Chief of Quality Assurance & Lab Certification, PA DEP will give a progress report on happenings within the DEP.
