Founded in 1987, PaAAEL is a non-profit association of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection accredited environmental laboratories and related industry representatives. PaAAEL has many activities and services that benefit both members and the environmental community:
- A newsletter with the latest information on industry news and regulatory changes
- Seminars, meetings with presentations by Department of Environmental Protection and Water Supply Management personnel, and the Annual Conference
- Availability of Federal Register reprints at a nominal charge.
PaAAEL membership is open to commercial and municipal laboratories as well as the industries that serve these facilities.
